Meet our Staff
Jarrod Phillips (Sales Manager)
My flooring career started in 2005, when I opened Jimelle Flooring, with Jim and Michelle Phillips. My tasks as Sales Manager are to ensure our showroom has all the newest styles along with the most durable products available at prices everyone can afford and love. My main quest is to ensure all our customers receive the best customer service possible. I truly care about our customers and want to see that all of them are satisfied with us starting when they walk into our showroom, until our installers finish their installation.
My wife Elizabeth and I were married in 2007. We have four children (Alexander, Austin, Sara Beth, and Kyli). I graduated from DeKalb High school in 2001 and Trine University (Angola, IN) in 2005 where I played football for four years and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. Elizabeth and I are members at Zion Lutheran Church in Corunna, IN. I enjoy coaching my children in Auburn Little League Baseball, DeKalb Rocket Football, and in the DeKalb County Basketball League. As a family we enjoy spending time hunting, fishing, and camping. I am also privileged to serve as an Infantry Officer in the Indiana Army National Guard.
Jennifer Barkel (Interior Designer/Project Manager)
As project manager, sales rep and designer for Jimelle Flooring, I enjoy working with my clients and contractors from start to finish on projects. As a designer, I am able to offer creative solutions, and unique products for my clients projects.
With over 20 years experience in the flooring industry I have expertise in flooring systems, install techniques along with great product knowledge that I can offer to my clients to help them select the best product for their space.
Specialties: Flooring of all types, custom showers, stone floors, heated flooring, fireplace refacing.

Our staff has attended multiple Mohawk University classes, so we are knowledgeable about all the products we sell.
